Tasting Note
Shiraz was the first red grape variety planted in Langhorne Creek at Bleasdale in 1858. This wine shows flavours of ripe plums and other dark berries, layered with liquorice, pepper and fresh spices. Drinking well now, but with the potential to be a long-term cellaring prospect if desired. After a period of cellaring, it is normal for some sediment to form. Decanting one hour before drinking is recommended.
Food Pairing
Roast pork and spiced crackling
