Winery
Puisseguin Saint Émilion is an AOC (French appellation of origin) located west of the charming town of St. Émilion. We are, of course, in the heart of the Bordeaux region, where some of the world's most prized and appreciated red wines come from. 750 hectares, hilly landscape, suitable for viticulture. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Merlot here lends elegance and aromatic richness to the wines. In this case, where the producer, by the way, carries a name that is more than famous and respected in France and around the world. Domaines Edmond de Rothschild ages its wine entirely in barrels, part new and partly used to achieve a pleasantly soft and spicy wine. A gritty and powerful red, this Puisseguin Saint Émilion knows how to be both complex and smooth. A good wine today but certainly also suitable for long cellar ageing. The ideal pairing? Grilled rib-eye steak.
