Tasting Note
Visual: Intense garnet red in colour tinged with dark purple.
Nose: Delicate aromas of stewed stone fruits, red berries, cherries
Palate: Features nuances of stone fruit such as plum and sour cherry combined with notes of light tobacco and spices to lend great complexity to this wine. This ensemble of flavours, with affirmative, well-integrated tannins results in a lengthy finish.

The inky colored 2018 Châteauneuf Du Pape from this terrific négociant gives up a ripe bouquet of blackcurrants, violets, ground pepper, and licorice. It's a rich, chewy, primordial barrel sample that has tons of richness and depth. It might even need a year of bottle age to come together and should keep for 7-8 years or more.

The 2017 Châteauneuf Du Pape from Louis Bernard is a forward, sexy wine that's loaded with notions of black raspberries, melted liquorice, earth, and spring flowers. It's ripe, medium to full-bodied has plenty of fruit and a good finish. It's just another terrific value from this estate. The blend is 65% Grenache, 20% Syrah, and the rest Mourvèdre brought up all in concrete tanks.
